Reel to Real: Conversations that bring movies to life!

First Reel to Real of 2019!

Join us on Sunday, January 27, 2019 for our first Reel to Real event of 2019!

We will watch and discuss the 2017 film, Menashe, a drama set in modern day Brooklyn that chronicles the real-life struggles of lead character Menashe.  The widowed father resists the laws of his Hasidic Jewish community that separate him from his young son.   

We will enjoy Mt. Lebanon's famous Badamo's Pizza....BYOB!  Admission is free; donations appreciated!

Reel to Real is an informal film event that invites community members to watch a movie and engage in a followup discussion after the screening.  It's a wonderful opportunity to revisit classic films, explore foreign films, and discover documentaries and edgy independent films.

The Denis Theatre Foundation, in conjunction with Artists for Alzheimer’s/I’m Still Here Foundation, is honored to present of Meet Me at the Movies & Make Memories
